The finished size is not correct
Check both PosterSplit settings and the print dialog or printer driver settings. For full-size work, measuring a printed page is the safest final check.
- Match the paper size selected in PosterSplit with the paper size in the print dialog.
- Turn off automatic scaling such as Fit to Page, Scale to Fit, or borderless enlargement.
- Choose 100% or Actual Size as the print scale.
- Print a check line or calibration PDF and measure it with a ruler.
- If the size is still off, adjust horizontal and vertical correction in the printer calibration profile and export again.
Sheets do not line up or assembly is confusing
Check overlap, cut lines, page numbers, and matching labels. For larger projects, assemble small groups by row or column before joining the full poster.
- Print one-sided pages.
- Follow page numbers and neighboring page labels.
- Decide which side keeps the overlap and which side gets trimmed before you begin.
- Temporarily tape a few pages, check alignment, then fix them in place.
A source file cannot be imported
PosterSplit supports JPG, PNG, HEIC, TIFF, PDF, and compatible SVG files. Damaged files, password-protected PDFs, print-restricted PDFs, extremely large files, or unsafe SVG structures may be rejected.
- Export a fresh copy from the original app and try again.
- For PDF drawings, select the original PDF rather than a screenshot.
- For files in cloud storage, make sure the file has downloaded to the device or Mac.
- If permission or file access has expired, choose the source again.
PDF generation stops or takes a long time
Projects with many pages or high-resolution sources need time and free storage while generating a PDF.
- Check available storage on your device or Mac.
- Export with standard quality first, then choose higher quality only when needed.
- If you only need to reprint part of a project, export only the required pages.
- Keep the app in the foreground while generating so you can see progress.
Pro purchase or restore
PosterSplit displays the current price and purchase availability received from the App Store. Purchases and restores are applied after verified entitlement information is reflected in the app.
- Make sure you are signed in with the Apple Account used for the purchase.
- Open settings or the purchase screen and use Restore Purchases.
- If product information is unavailable, check the network connection and try refreshing later.
- For App Store billing issues, use Apple’s purchase history and report-a-problem tools.
